I'm Brett. I spent years in SaaS support, customer success, and education, which is a polite way of saying I got very good at explaining why things were broken. Now I lead AI transformation, which mostly means I caught the building bug and accidentally taught myself software engineering along the way.
I'm not an AI expert. I'm an enthusiast with production access, which is arguably more dangerous. The thing I've learned fastest is that writing code is the fun 20% of the job. The other 80% is the edge cases, the ops, the "why is prod like this," and the 2am debugging sessions no tutorial warns you about. That part is humbling. This site is where I write it all down while I figure it out.
Fair warning: I ship with more hope than tests. The praying cat is a self-portrait.
